Being based near Portland, Maine, we are lucky to have access to some of the best farms and food producers in New England. We work closely with them to obtain the freshest ingredients, which is what lets us maintain the quality we are known for.
Our pigs come from one place and one place only: Greener Days Farm in Waldoboro, Maine, a sustainable off-grid farm raising heritage Large Black pigs on pasture. It is a rare breed, raised slowly and humanely, and it is the single biggest reason our pork tastes the way it does.
Whenever possible we purchase our produce from local farmers markets and farm stands. The Portland Farmers Market is one of our favorite stops!
